  • The marketplace is a joint solution by AutoScout24 and AutoProff that enables professional car dealers to sell their stock directly to verified dealers across Europe. It combines AutoScout24’s market reach with AutoProff’s professional trading tools for negotiation, verification, and secure payment.

  • If you are already an AutoScout24 dealer, you can access the marketplace via your AS24 Dealer Dashboard. Once your account is verified and your VAT details are approved, your stock can be made visible to other European dealers through AutoProff.

  • You need an active AutoScout24 professional account, a valid VAT ID, and verified company information in the AutoProff system. Your listings must include accurate vehicle details, pricing, and condition data.

  • No. Your existing AS24 account will connect you to AutoProff through the integrated marketplace interface. However, AutoProff onboarding is required to verify your business details and enable trading functionality.

1. Getting started

  • Your eligible inventory is automatically synchronized from AutoScout24 to the unified B2B Marketplace environment. This allows your vehicles to be visible to tens of thousands of professional buyers across Europe.

  • Yes, absolutely. The more pricing information you share, the better. Including B2B prices helps buyers clearly understand the trade value of your vehicles, which builds trust and transparency. It also enables buyers to make faster, well-informed purchasing decisions — ultimately improving your chances of closing a deal efficiently.

  • Prices use the same logic as in the retail environment (B2C price as baseline) and clearly show VAT status:

    Buyers can see the applicable VAT type before making offers, ensuring transparency across markets. 

  • Yes. You can choose which listings to activate for the B2B Marketplace – this can be directly done in your AS24 dealer cockpit. The marketplace team may also recommend vehicles that fit current cross-border demand, based on arbitrage opportunities (e.g., Italian EVs to Denmark).

  • Buyers can submit offers directly through the marketplace. You will receive notifications in the system (AS24 dealer cockpit and AutoProff account) and can review or negotiate terms within the AutoProff platform.

  • You can either accept, decline, or negotiate the offer. Once both parties agree on a final price, the system automatically triggers the Condition Verification step.

  • Keep in mind that the marketplace is designed for B2B trading between professional dealers, not end consumers. Dealers buying through the platform typically aim to resell vehicles and therefore calculate offers based on trade margins, market demand, transport costs, and refurbishment expenses. Lower offers don’t necessarily reflect a lack of interest but rather the realistic wholesale value within the professional dealer network.

  • After a price agreement, you complete a short questionnaire about the vehicle’s condition and upload supporting photos and documents. This data is shared with the buyer for confirmation. Once approved, the deal moves to the post-trade phase.

  • Yes. The verification data you provide is stored securely and can be reused for future negotiations on the same or similar stock.

  • A deal is confirmed once the buyer accepts the verified condition. The system then locks the trade and notifies both parties that the transaction has moved to payment and invoicing.

  • All payments are handled via the integrated Secure Payment system managed by AutoProff. Funds are held securely until both sides confirm that the trade and vehicle condition are fulfilled.

  • You, the seller, issue the invoice directly to the buyer — not through AutoProff. This ensures a direct transaction between professional entities. AutoProff only facilitates payment flow and tracking.

  • Issue the invoice immediately after the deal confirmation and before vehicle handover. The invoice must include all mandatory details such as VAT type, vehicle information, and transaction reference.

  • Once the buyer completes payment through Secure Payment, the transaction status is automatically updated in your AutoProff dashboard, and you receive a confirmation notification.

  • Early payout functionality is in development. Once live, sellers may receive funds sooner after deal confirmation, depending on country-specific payment and invoicing regulations.

  • Yes. For Italy, invoices are handled outside the AutoProff system. Sellers in Italy issue invoices directly to the buyer and inform AutoProff to manually record them in the system.

  • Delivery terms are agreed directly between you and the buyer. You may use your preferred logistics provider or AutoProff’s recommended partners (where available). Always ensure transport documentation matches the verified vehicle condition.

  • AutoProff manages all post-trade claims. If a dispute arises, you’ll be asked to provide the condition verification form, delivery proof, and any relevant communication. AutoProff acts as mediator between both parties.

  • Claims are reviewed based on condition data and evidence. Depending on the case, the resolution may involve partial refunds, returns, or confirmation of deal validity. AutoProff ensures the process is fair and transparent.

  • AutoProff monitors payment completion closely. If the buyer fails to pay within the agreed timeframe, AutoProff intervenes directly to resolve or cancel the transaction before vehicle handover.

  • All key metrics — views, favorites, offers, and accepted deals — are visible in your AS24 Dealer Dashboard. This helps monitor your stock performance and international visibility. 

  • Ensure your listings include complete descriptions, competitive pricing, and verified vehicle conditions. Respond quickly to buyer inquiries and use AutoProff’s recommended stock targeting for cross-border demand.

  • Yes. All confirmed trades, invoices, and verification records are stored in your AutoProff account and can be exported for internal recordkeeping or accounting.

6. Performance & reporting

    • For payment or post-trade issues: contact AutoProff Operations. 

    • For listing or dashboard visibility: contact AutoScout24 Operations. 

  • Report recurring problems (non-response, late payment, or repeated claims) to AutoProff Support. The buyer’s account will be reviewed and may be restricted if necessary.

  • All transactions are processed via secure, GDPR-compliant systems. AutoProff’s Secure Payment provider ensures fund protection and compliance with European trade and financial regulations.
